    Description

    100 trading cards from 2 complete mint 50 trading card sets of VARGAS PIN-UP GIRLS, and VARGAS PIN-UP GIRLS II.   These are all Alberto Vargas paintings from 1940 to 1947 while he was under contract to ESQUIRE MAGAZINE. They were produced in this trading card format in 1992 and 1993 by 21ST Archives and the Hearst Corporation.  His contract with Esquire did not allow him to use his full name, but only VARGA.  Hearst Corporation still retains ownership today.  The cards are standard size: 2 1/2 " by 3 1/2", and all in mint condition.
    Pulled from packs and immediately protected in plastic. I scanned many of the fronts, and the backs of some so buyers can get a good idea of the quality artwork.
